For Christmas this year a sweet friend surprised me with Chanel Illusion D'Ombre and it was/is fabulous.  Goes on sheer and you can build from there.  I was hooked.

Fast forward a few months and I found myself in a meeting with an out of town client and I had a hard time concentrating because she had on the most fabulous eyeshadow. Before all of this I am not sure I ever noticed anyone's eyeshadow but all of the sudden I had to know her secret...a secret that I was sure would cost a pretty penny.  And this was the secret...

A few years ago a client had on shoes I feel in love with.  I could not find them but I had the brand Antelope on my radar after that.  On and off I would take a look and see if there were any styles that grabbed me (because not all are cute) but I never pulled the trigger.  Then about a month ago another client had on a pair that she swore were comfortable walking around Italy for 10 days...and with that the search was rekindled...and the search lead to these...

I have to tell you, Antelope's really are as comfortable as everyone says.  LOVE them.  I got them in black but several colors available HERE. 

Do You Have A Booth?

About a month ago an old client of mine was telling me about her booth at local interiors place.  I was interested but not convinced since I have exactly zero free time at the moment and business is great.  Then, literally 2 days later my assistant walked in and said, "I was in _____(the exact same place-I will let you know where if I decide to do it) and I thought you should really do a booth there."  Hmmm, two people in 2 days..this was starting to look like a sign.

I am definitely not looking for a another job but I am seriously considering this.  Everything on the blog sells well and it would be a great place to store extra items that I haven't found a home for yet.  I just wanted to know if any of you have or have had a booth somewhere, antique or other, and any advice you might have...Thanks!

Progress Update

 Last week we installed the lake house we have been working on for a while now.  I thought I took better after pictures but after a 14+ hour day it turns out I did not.  So for now I will just have to share some in-between pictures.  Complete pictures coming soon hopefully!
